I trust this message finds you and your teams managing through the recent stretch of extreme weather. Such unpredictability, whether it affects our infrastructure or tests our patience, echoes the realities we face daily as leaders navigating operational pressures while guiding those around us toward resilience and composure. As conditions inevitably improve, so too do the opportunities to address challenges, repair what’s been strained, and emerge stronger, both in our organizations and personally.


On a personal note, spending time with my new granddaughter (she is such a delight) has powerfully reinforced a simple truth that sits at the heart of our firm’s mission: “Position for the Future.” It’s not just a tagline, it’s a philosophy. The future is not a distant concept; it unfolds every day, shaped by the decisions we make and the values we uphold. As stewards preparing to pass the torch to the next generation, our integrity and ethical grounding matter now more than ever.


Leadership, especially at our level, carries profound responsibility. Navigating the rapid evolution of AI and new technologies, we are constantly challenged to balance innovation with the character and clarity that give our efforts lasting significance. The playbook is evolving, and the landscape shifts quickly. Yet, what grounds us and propels us forward is our unwavering commitment to what truly matters: our people, our principles, and our purpose.


I am also delighted to announce that, beginning Q4 2025, we will launch our first Oceanside Chat for Executive Leadership, a unique forum created for candid conversations and shared learning among peers.
